Moby (2026)
Sculpture, foam, wood, expanding foam, paint, mixed media
Inspired by humorous and playful contemporary artworks, Harth-Bedoya wanted to create a larger-than-life character that feels imaginative, expressive, and slightly absurd. The project explores creativity, curiosity, and the freedom to make something fun without a fixed narrative.
Moby is a large-scale sculpture with an animated presence that invites viewers to engage with it through its size and character. Pink material on the figure's face and at its base suggests that something has been eaten, spilled, or exploded, but the meaning is intentionally left open to interpretation. The work encourages imagination and celebrates the playful side of creativity.
